What customers say?

“ Stopped in to Arabella’s on a whim at Canal Days and we are so glad we did! What an adorable little place. It’s beautiful and spacious inside. There’s a great deal for a drink and some biscuits that comes out to $7 total and it was a steal. We loved it and would love to come back for a high tea or something of the sort. ”

“ Delightful! Volunteers are so friendly and lovely. The biscuits come fresh and hot, and they have a nice tea selection. Even (especially?) on a stormy day, it was a perfect experience. Highly, highly recommend! We will be back ”

- Flora M -

“ Quaint place to get together with ladies (and gents too) for tea and the best scones outside of England with superb preserves - all served with porcelain ware. Step back in time at this heritage site - it's absolutely lovely. ”

- Cara R-N -

“ This is such a hidden gem run by volunteers. The inside and outside are kept beautifully. They have a wheelchair ramp as well. The tea was tasty, the scones were hot and delicious and their homemade jam was outstanding. I highly recommend. Thus was my first visit and I will definitely be back. ”

- Rose-Anne Lidstone -

“ Lovely place to go for tea, individual pots with a choices of different kinds of tea. Plus you get biscuits and jam, quite tasty. Service is slow, but remember that it is done with volunteers not paid staff, so be understanding. Cost is really low at 5 dollars per person, but you can certainly give more, as well as the tea house, there is a number of log homes and historical buildings here, so come visit! ”

“ Arabella's Tea Room has been a delight to my family and I for 10+ years! In a wonderful Victorian era setting, you are treated to homemade biscuits and jam served with hot tea (or coffee or cold drink of your choice). At $5 for a big pot of tea and biscuits, you can't go wrong and you are taken very good care of by the volunteers. Proceeds to go looking after the Port Colborne Museum which is always a treat to check out! ”

“ I have been coming for over twenty years. My Grandchildren look forward to it every year. We drive from Buffalo & it is well worth the trip. Best bargain in Canada, utterly charming & the biscuits are hot & scrumptious. ”

- Marybeth Ryan -

“ We were served a very tasty Christmas pudding and several cups of tea by a nice server, quickly and pleasantly. Lovely, old fashioned surroundings. Easy walk up ramp around the side of the building. It says exit, but they will open the door for you. ”
